Hook Day WW2

Class: 5KC Year: 2020 - 2021

5R had an immersion day where they came to school dressed as evacuees. They listened to Richard Chamberlain's declaration of war, looked at rationing and weighed out ration ingredients, made blackouts, did role play of going to their Anderson Shelter when the sirens and bombs went off and went to the train station to board a train to go to live with their new family.

We had a fantastic day!
