Homework Support
As a follow-up to our overwhelmingly attended homework support session please find attached the different resources that were shown during the meeting. I have endeavoured to write notes on each resource to guide you in their use, but feel free to pop in if you are at all unsure. Please note that the children in Year 1 do not need to know times tables facts but should be practising counting on and back in equal steps once they can do so in ones.
If you were unable to attend the meeting, you may also find the calculation policy on this site a very useful document, as it details how we approach the teaching of the 4 rules of number (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) from Year 1 right up to Year 6.
